Cast Iron Filter, a Charlotte-based alternative country/bluegrass rock band active from 1998 to 2005, will reunite for two shows this weekend at The Evening Muse. Formed in 1998 on the campuses of Davidson College by Dustin Edge (guitar, vocals), Randy Culbertson (guitar, vocals), and Mike Orlando (mandolin, banjo), the band has shared stages with the Avett Brothers, Train, Railroad Earth, Edwin McCain, and Better than Ezra.
