English post-punk band, Echo & the Bunnymen, return to Charlotte for the first time since 2006 with original members Ian McCulloch and Will Sergeant. With 13 studio albums released since 1980, all of which earned a spot on the UK Charts, they were darlings of the ’80s and ’90s British indie rock scene. The band released their latest album, The Stars, the Oceans & the Moon, in 2018, and a 25th anniversary edition of their 1997 album, Evergreen, in 2022.

Opening the show will be Charlotte indie rock outfit, Modern Moxie, fronted by singer-songwriter and musician Madison Lucas. The group released their debut studio album, Claw Your Way Out, in 2019, and their latest EP, Gutter Honey, in 2022. This year, the band has released two singles (“Live a Fantasy” and “Churning”), ahead of their new EP, Tripping the Light Fantastic, scheduled to be released in August.
